| Description | Piano Lessons London by WKMT is a dedicated team of piano teachers committed to producing a truly holistic musical experience for its students. Our approach is based on the stimulation of the three pillars that support healthy learning of music: insight, perspective and experience. The gaining of insight element is represented by the one to one piano lessons themselves. Based on the teachings of Vicente Scaramuzza, our lessons approach the challenge of developing a solid piano technique properly seriously. From lesson one, our teachers focus on explaining how we can play comfortably. At WKMT we only believe in one way of playing, comfortably. Our piano lessons are supported by a collection of complementary activities. The "gaining of perspective" element is represented by our professional concerts. Listening and watching professional performing is fundamental for our student to develop a sense of academic orientation. Everyone needs to understand what is a good performance and differentiate it from a mediocre one. Our concerts are organised to happen in wonderful and carefully selected venues around London. The gaining of experience element is indeed the most important goal of our tuition. It is represented by the festivals and the featured spots at the professional concerts. In these occasions, a bunch of selected students are encouraged to play prior to the professionals. The idea is to allow them to share with the audience the product of their effort while they can feel the thrill of playing next to the professionals themselves. |
